Charak Puja West Bengal

Charak Fair is a very enchanting folk festival of the Southern Belt of Bangladesh and West Bengal. It is also known as "Nil Puja". The believers of the Hindu religion celebrate this on the last day of Chaitra (Chaitra Songkranti). People b elieve that the festival will carry prosperity by eliminating the sorrow and sufferings of the previous year. The festival is actually a festival to satisfy "Lord Shiva", the great "Debadideb" of Hindu Religion. Though the festival takes place on the mid night of Chaitra Songkranti, the preparation phase usually starts before one month of the day. The arrangement team of the festival go from village to village to procure the necessary components like paddy, oil, sugar, salt, honey, money and other items with the arranged cosmetics such as Shiva, Parvati and Narod. जब मैंने फेयर्स ऑफ़ इंडिया डाक्यूमेंट्री सीरीज सोची थी बनाने को तो जितना मुझे बनाने में प्रॉब्लम नहीं हुआ उतना लोगो की बात सुन के होने लगा । लोग अजीब से परेशां थे मुझे ऐसा लग रहा था की आखिर मै कौन सी गलती कर रहा हूँ या किसी से कुछ छीन रहा हूँ जो लोग इतने परेशां हैं । ग्रुप बना के लोग बॉस के पास जाते थे की मुझे ये प्रोग्राम न करने दिया जाये और इन में वो लोग भी शामिल थे जिनके प्रोग्राम हो कभी मै बनता था और शूट भी करता था। प्रोग्राम को पूरा करने में ऐसा भी नहीं था जो मुझे किसी से हेल्प लेनी थी या मैने किसी के टॉपिक को चुराया हो । ये मै समझ गया था की ऑफिस में कोई दोस्त नहीं होता। किसी को मेरे एंकर से प्रॉब्लम थी कोई खुद मेरे प्रोग्राम में एंकरिंग करना चाहता था। मै पहले एपिसोड के ओन एयर का इंतजार कर रहा था की लोग देखे और फिर मेरे काम को बुरा या अच्छा कहे और ऐसा ही हुआ पहला एपिसोड पुष्कर मेले पे था सब को बहुत अच्छा लगा सारे प्रॉब्लम ख़तम होने शुरू हो गए थे । आज दस एपिसोड पुरे हो चुके है और हर एपिसोड अपने आप में बेहतर हैं ।
